Press mailing from another planet
"Mars" is an American TV series that currently consists of twelve episodes and combines elements of science fiction and documentary. The series revolves around the planned first manned mission to Mars, scheduled for the year 2033. The focus of the docuseries lies in the visually realised vision of how this project could unfold.

Task
The challenge was to create a press mailing to draw the attention of journalists, partners and affiliates to the new series. The goal was to generate excitement and curiosity to garner as much press interest as possible.
We developed a ticket to Mars along with a not quite serious cultivation station that was intended to enable the first steps towards self-sufficiency on Mars. The set includes airtight packaged seeds, water, potting soil and a planting pot - everything needed for an optimal start on the red planet.
