Exhibition Design – Spaces for Inspiration, Knowledge and Dialogue.
Exhibitions as a transformative experience space.
Exhibitions are a great means to convey science, history and other complex subjects. However, it is not an easy task for institutions and museums to engage people with an exhibition in a way that they take the time to delve deeper into the content.
This is achieved when the exhibition becomes a space for storytelling - entertaining, engaging and sustainable. Helping people understand connections and gain inspiration for the future and their personal development.

Exhibition Assets
Educate, inform and inspire - Our building blocks for exhibition design.
Content
The basis for the development of an exhibition is the intensive examination of the content and themes. In close collaboration with curators, scientists and those responsible for communication and mediation, the central key messages and themes are developed at the beginning of each exhibition project.
Grafiph Design
Our focus is to speak a visually contemporary creative language to invite and engage people. The typography, graphic design and exhibition elements are conceptually developed from the themes and key messages, resulting in distinctive designs.
Branding
This is how we develop a distinctive corporate design that makes each exhibition a visually unique product. The design also provides the building blocks for targeted and effective communication and mediation work.
Text
Communication on various levels, both in terms of content and visually, is a key element for us in successfully engaging with our audience. Visitors are met where they are, in every sense. This includes impactful headlines for long-distance communication, various levels of depth for detailed information, and clear and accessible language and tone in our messaging. We always keep essential aspects such as accessibility and low-threshold access in mind.
Space
Scenography, the art of staging in space brings together all elements of an exhibition. It creates an experiential space that can be perceptible with all senses. We focus on content-oriented storytelling and experiment with sustainable and flexible materials and systems. Everything is constantly evolving, so we design exhibitions that consider change, can transform and expand. Where the physical space ends, we open the digital space.
Digital
We see digital content, presentations and interactive media as an important part of communication. The same applies to opportunities for visitors to access or even take away in-depth digital content during an exhibition. Scientific exhibitions, in particular, open up topics to the public and stimulate discourse, exchange and research. Scientific articles, blog posts and social media can digitally expand and extend exhibitions today.
Sound
Targeted acoustic design can guide people through a space or evoke specific emotions. Audio guides and original sound bites deepen the exhibition experience, provide additional information and contribute to a better understanding of the content.
Light
Lighting accentuates, stages and determines the atmosphere of spaces. We use lighting design to put everything into perspective and dynamically connect and contextualise correlations, exhibits and texts.
Management
Exhibition projects are very complex and require forward-looking planning and reliable project management. We coordinate workflows, define responsibilities, monitor production processes, control budgets and ensure quality. Our working method is transparent, responsible and trustworthy.
Interview Exhibition Design
In the following interview, recorded as part of the exhibition "Frei Leben", we describe how we approach and implement exhibition projects.
Work
We believe we can make an important contribution by creating experiences and encounters.
Create understanding. Our methods and offerings.
As design agency we support brands in recognising their uniqueness and core values and translate them into design. Analogue, digital, in 2D or 3D.
